NSFW language warning

John Cena’s a divisive character. If you hadn’t noticed it on your own, he’s told you at the beginning of half of his promos. Some of y’all like him and some of y’all don’t, and that’s okay, because when you buy a ticket to a WWE event, you earn the right to boo or cheer for whoever you want, etc., etc. We’ve heard it all before. Some of us (with high voices) think Cena’s the best wrestler in the world. Others think he he’s terrible.

Former NXT star Solomon Crowe is on the side that thinks Big Match John is objectively fantastic, and he does a good job of explaining why in this clip from his recent RF Video shoot. Crowe (also known as Sami Callihan) explains how aware of the crowd response Cena is, how he’s beyond “heel” and “face,” and why he’s a “great professional wrestler.” There’s also a bit about how he’s pretty sure John Cena never sleeps, which seems accurate, but raises further questions.

To put it another way,

“Anyone who ever sh*ts on him is f*cking dumb.”
