Larry King stepped onto the set of his Hulu talk show Larry King Now and then… JOHN CENA!

Alright, now that I’ve got that out of my system, I’m ready to discuss John Cena’s expansive interview with Larry King in which he discusses just about everything that’s pertinent in his life over the last year or so. King is a master interviewer, and Cena is earnest in speaking about his wrestling persona, chasing Ric Flair’s championship record of 16, and who he’d love to come out of retirement to fight. Spoiler alert – it’s Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Cena has been busy over the last year away from the WWE. He’s made it clear that he’s capped out on making fans, and empathizes with Dwayne Johnson’s trajectory once leaving the WWE as a full-time wrestler. He’s now making the reality show American Grit, which he discusses with Larry in length, and also delves into the “awkward” sex scene he had in Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck.

The interview gets even more interesting when Cena discusses his complete lack of caring for UFC. He’s a storyteller, and he doesn’t believe they’re bringing much to the table in that department. He also gives some excellent advice to a mother of a 13-year-old who wants to follow in Cena’s footsteps to become a pro wrestler.

You don’t usually get 30 minutes with a top of the heap WWE superstar like Cena, so this is definitely worth watching.
