Jerry Lawler And Buff Bagwell Had A Grizzlies Game 6 Fight That Involved Chairs, Tables, And A Bear

The Memphis Grizzlies love pro wrestling. Memphis, in case you hadn’t heard, is a wrestling town, and one of its favorite sons is, of course, Jerry “The King” Lawler. With the Grizzlies in the NBA Playoffs, they’ve been doubling down on their pro graps love. During Game 3 of their series against the San Antonio Spurs, they had a BEAR FIGHT that involved moves off ladders, and during Thursday’s Game 6, they had Lawler himself show up to defend the city’s honor against dastardly heel … Buff Bagwell?

Things didn’t end so well for Lawler, however.

Please enjoy the spectacular quality of Jerry Lawler’s sad slow-motion crumple:

That’s how you know Jerry is a true professional: he’s not afraid to let the heel get some serious shine.

BUT WAIT! It turns out halftime wasn’t the ONLY time for wrestling during Game 6. Bagwell stuck around and kept taunting the fans during the third quarter.

But Lawler made a miraculous recovery and was able to get his revenge via MASCOT SPLASH.

This is all fantastic, of course, and let’s agree that Bagwell looks like he’s in great shape, he has unarguably the best haircut of his life, and it’s nice that Jerry Lawler still has his phone number.
