Watch Paul Heyman Reprise ‘Glory Glory Brock Lesnar’ At Caroline’s On Broadway

One of the major highlights from this week’s WWE Raw was Paul Heyman inserting Brock Lesnar-themed parody lyrics into ‘The Battle Hymn of the Republic’ and singing them with Sinatra-esque conviction. It was meant to celebrate The Beast Incarnate’s return to Minnesota, but the festivities were interrupted by a teleporting, dick-kicking Undertaker.

During Sam Roberts’ live podcast taping at Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City on Thursday, the one behind the one in 21-1 got another chance to sing the song, and it was equally magical. I don’t think anyone will accuse Paul E. of having a beautiful singing voice, but it’s definitely beautiful when he sings. And hey, as an added bonus, this time an undead cowboy wizard didn’t ride a lightswitch into the building and boot Sam Roberts in the groin. I guess teleporting loses its appeal when you’re running a sneak attack on a guy taping a podcast.

Quick note: The saddest moment in WWE history is gonna be whenever Brock Lesnar dies, and they do one of those emotional tribute video packages with a mournful, Ken Burns-style version of ‘The Battle Hymn of the Republic’ playing in the background. Get your tears ready now, folks.
