In what has become sadly unsurprising news, Scott Hall was escorted from a New Jersey independent wrestling event this past weekend for allegedly being too drunk to continue his appearance. In the above footage run by TMZ Sports, Hall cut a promo on local New Jersey wrestler Joey Janela before he called another WWE Hall of Famer from the back, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts. The footage continues to show Hall being asked to leave the park where the show was being held for allegedly being too intoxicated to go forward with a planned meet and greet.

TMZ Sports continues:

According to our sources, Hall was given multiple chances to sober up … but never did. Organizers told Hall to leave … but he refused, demanding to be paid.

Eventually, security stepped in and escorted Hall off the property.

The event promoter, Ricky Otazu, tells TMZ Sports, “The event was too well run for us to make a fool of ourselves by allowing him to appear. We will no longer be associated with him until he gets his life in order.”

Back in 2013, Scott Hall teamed up with Diamond Dallas Page for a Go Fund Me campaign to get Hall a hip replacement, and then rehab physically and mentally under the tutelage of DDP. The campaign raised over $100k, and much like Jake the Snake’s sobriety and improved physical health, Hall seemed to be one of DDP’s greatest success stories.
