Seth Rollins Fired Back At Injury Rumors

WWE

It seems like every WWE superstar and their mom has been injured lately, or has at least been the target of injury rumors.

The latest subjects of speculation were our former tag champs and two thirds of Champions Club, Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins. A neck injury, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, was why Jordan looked like such a chump in he and the Kingslayer’s match with the Bar at the Royal Rumble. Neither Jordan nor Rollins were on the Raw after the Rumble, and Meltzer reported that this was due not only to Jordan’s neck, but also the injured back of Seth Rollins.

This morning, Rollins took to Twitter to burn down Meltzer’s report:

Rollins notably did not respond to the similarly important issue of whether his Flamin’ Hot Royal Rumble Pants were a tribute to Bam Bam Bigelow or Guy Fieri, so I guess we’ll have to wait for the findings of a future Fashion Police investigation.

In all seriousness, I’m sure you’re all as relieved as I am that Rollins is okay, especially given the momentum he seems to be having after the return of the Curb – Blackout. The Blackout. This is also a good reminder for wrestling fans that like all of us, Dave Meltzer can be wrong about things sometimes.
