Snoop Dogg Channeled Hulk Hogan And Ric Flair To Celebrate His WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

WWE first instituted the celebrity wing of their esteemed Hall of Fame back in 2004, with the induction of Pete Rose, a baseball great who routinely got tombstones by Kane on WWE programming. Since then, other celebrities have joined Rose, names like Mr. T, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Drew Carey (another recipient of Kane’s wrath), Mike Tyson, and even presidential candidate Donald Trump.

For the 2016 Hall of Fame ceremony, legendary West Coast hip-hop artist Snoop Doog is joining the fray, inducted because of his long-time affiliation with WWE’s product. For years, Snoop could be seen in the crowd for WWE live events, and he’s participated in a variety of segments, like the Playboy Bunny lumberjill match at WrestleMania XXIV. He also hosted a Raw show in 2009, which he capped off by spearing Chavo Guerrero.

This Saturday, Snoop will be on hand for the Hall of Fame ceremony, and he’ll also be in attendance for his cousin Sasha Banks’ world title match during the WrestleMania event on Sunday. TMZ Sports caught up with Snoop this week, and asked him about his part in the event, and the D-O-Double-G imitated Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair to show his enthusiasm. Snoop was also kind enough to drop a “deez nuts” joke, because he’s awesome and it’s still hilarious when properly applied.

The Hall of Fame ceremony is live on the WWE Network this Saturday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
