Will Stone Cold Steve Austin Be At WrestleMania 32? Here’s What He Has To Say

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin has mentioned a few times already that he’ll be at WrestleMania in some capacity even if he’s never wrestling again, so you know what that means: six more weeks of people asking Stone Cold Steve Austin if he’s gonna be at WrestleMania, and who he’ll be wrestling. It’s the sun rising in the east of wrestling gossip.

Rolling Stone took a break from writing hilariously original jokes about Lucha Underground to ask Stone Cold what his plans are, and his answer was the same. He’s sure he’ll be there — he’s one of the biggest stars in wrestling history and it’s one of the company’s biggest shows ever — and he’s not sure if that means doing a live podcast or actually participating in the show. He’s waiting for the right pitch, and he’s sure that if he gets the call from Vince McMahon, it’ll be after they’ve considered everything and found the right answer. I’m guessing that’s not, “lose to Brock Lesnar,” but we’ll take what we can get.

Here’s my pitch: make Austin the special guest referee for Triple H vs. Roman Reigns. That way if the crowd completely turns on it, you can do the WrestleMania XX Brock vs. Goldberg thing and have Austin just beat everyone up and drink beers.
