Triple H Revealed His Strategy For Creating The Next Iconic WWE Superstar

WWE has thrived with iconic Superstars like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and John Cena. The company hopes to keep their future bright by building new stars, and NXT head of the household Triple H thinks the Performance Centre is where that will happen.

While promoting the upcoming NXT tour of the UK, Triple H spoke to 98 FM Dublin about how their developmental showcase turned into their third touring brand that attracts their most “passionate fanbase”:

The talent are maybe a little bit younger, a little bit more diverse, and they’re really hungry and they’re trying to sort of either make their name, or prove their point, or remake their name in some cases, and earn their spot as being at the top of the sports entertainment industry.

But how do they get to make their name while being part of a predetermined product? How do you go from developing your own voice to being the next great WWE Superstar?

Those talent make themselves in the biggest way. You train them, you teach them how to do this, [and] you try to give them all the tools necessary. And that’s really what we created a few years ago with the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida. It’s just the ultimate performance centre, for lack of a better term, that gives them every tool that they could need to succeed in the WWE. And then, what they do with that is up to them. If they work as hard as possible and they’re dedicated and passionate about it and work as hard as they can, then the sky is the limit.

With the popularity of stars like Sasha Banks, Sami Zayn, Enzo & Big Cass, or current WWE Women’s Champion and former NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte, Triple H has some strong evidence to back up his theory.
