I know I said we were done with WWE 2K16 trailers last week, but 2K Games has gone and snuck another one out before the game’s release. This trailer focuses on 2K16‘s online features, which, thankfully, have been fairly significantly expanded (last year’s online mode was hardly even worth mentioning).
This year, you’ll be able to upload and download created characters, and 2K will be hosting special 2K Tonight events you can play through against online opponents. Oh, and you can also team up with other players for online tag team matches, which may not sounds like a huge thing, but hey, it wasn’t in last year’s game. All in all, some nice new features, although it won’t mean much if the online play is as laggy as it was in WWE 2K15.
While we’re at it, we also have video of all the OMG Moments from WWE 2K16 courtesty of YouTuber Potato Station. For those who haven’t played a WWE game for a while, OMG Moments are particularly cool/memorable spots that tend to be very hard to pull off. Think the ring collapsing during that Big Show/Mark Henry match or Randy Orton hitting an RKO outta nowhere on a guy coming off the top rope.
WWE 2K16 comes out tomorrow, and I’ll have streaming coverage and hopefully a review this week.
