WWE Announced The Hosts Of The Cruiserweight Classic, And The Internet Did Rejoice

The WWE Cruiserweight Classic, featuring everyone from Noam Dar and Zack Sabre Jr. to Kota Ibushi, Akira Tozawa and Tajiri, starts taping tomorrow and airs on WWE Network all summer.

If you’re a wrestling fan on the Internet and haven’t already been exploded into unconsciousness by the full list of participants, WWE’s bringing it home with the announcement that two Internet favorites will be hosting the event.

Hold on to your butts:

Via WWE.com:

It was five months ago when Daniel Bryan said his goodbyes to the WWE Universe, but now, the leader of the “Yes!” Movement is making his return to WWE television. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be joining Mauro Ranallo to host the Cruiserweight Classic this summer on WWE Network.

Ranallo brings a wealth of combat sports experience to the announcers’ table. In addition to serving as the voice of SmackDown, the Canadian has been one of the top play-by-play men in mixed martial arts, boxing and sports-entertainment.

Joining him as the color commentator is Bryan. As a Superstar who neared the 205-pound weight limit of the CWC throughout his career, Bryan made it his goal to defy those who deemed him too small to succeed on sports-entertainment’s biggest platform. The leader of the “Yes!” Movement did just that by capturing the hearts of the WWE Universe on his way to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30.

Two things I’m asking for:

1. The Club showing up and getting in Mauro’s face about anything, and
2. Daniel Bryan revealing that he’s actually in the Cruiserweight Classic and tapping out Sabre in the first round. Okay, he can tap out Weazy Woo in the first round, as long as he’s wrestling. He’s not wrestling, I know, it’s fine. It’s fine.
