Here Are The Complete NXT Taping Spoilers For July 12, 2017

On Wednesday night, the Yellow Brand held their latest batch of television tapings at Full Sail. Please be aware that everything you read in the subsequent paragraphs is an actual, massive, legitimate spoiler for what will happen over the next several weeks of NXT television. You may read on only at your own risk. But if you’re the sort of person who just simply cannot wait until next week to find out what happens next, congratulations! This post is for you!

These tapings should take NXT television all the way up through NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III.

Results from the 7/12/17 NXT tapings:

— In a dark match, Jeet Rama defeated Mik Drake.

1. Ember Moon defeated Lei’D Tapa. After the match, Tapa’s leg appeared to be hurt and she was assisted by the referees. Moon challenged Asuka to a title match at TakeOver.

— The Authors of Pain were set to face Timmy Lou Retton and a partner, but SAnitY ran in and took out Retton and partner. The Authors and SAnitY then brawled, with the Authors being able to gain the upper hand and send SAnitY packing.

2. The Velveteen Dream defeated Cezar Bononi. After the victory, Velveteen Dream refused to do an interview in front of the “ugly” Full Sail crowd.

— Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship was made official for Brooklyn. McIntyre then cut a promo about how he came back to NXT to be the best, and Roode doesn’t exemplify what NXT is all about. He said this isn’t Roode’s NXT, it’s “our” NXT.

3. Kassius Ohno defeated Hideo Itami. Ohno won by disqualification after Itami kicked him in the genitals. After the match, Itami continued to beat on Ohno and hit him with the GTS twice, then dropped him face-first onto the ring steps.

4. Johnny Gargano defeated Raul Mendoza.

— Asuka came to the ring and said she’s beaten Ember Moon before and she’ll beat her again. Moon came out and said everyone knows she’s ready, and Asuka isn’t ready for her. Asuka refused to shake Moon’s hand and slapped her, leading to a fight. Moon was able to hit the Eclipse and pose over Asuka.

5. Heavy Machinery defeated Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss.

6. Daria Berenato defeated Jenna Van Muscles.

— Itami came to the ring and cut a promo in Japanese. Then he said he deserves respect, and he wants the crowd to show him respect. He says he doesn’t care who comes out to face him, he’ll win. Aleister Black then made his entrance. They stared each other down and Itami went to walk away, then tried to blindside Black but got caught with a roundhouse kick.

7. Aleister Black defeated Kyle O’Reilly. O’Reilly made his NXT debut, and had a TitanTron with his name and everything.

— SAnitY called out the Authors of Pain. When the Authors showed up, they were jumped by Eric Young, allowing SAnitY to get the upper hand.

8. The Street Prophets (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) defeated the Metro Brothers (Chris and JC).

— William Regal moderated a face-to-face confrontation between Bobby Roode and Drew McIntyre. Roode arrived with his own personal security, so that the “money match” would be protected. Roode says it’s his NXT, and that McIntyre believes his own hype. Roderick Strong came out and said he’s not done with Roode. This isn’t about the title, it’s about disrespecting his family. Roode says if Strong can defeat McIntyre, he’ll give him another title shot at TakeOver.

9. Danny Burch defeated Oney Lorcan.

10. Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated No Way Jose. Thea Trinidad got on the microphone and said Almas demands the spotlight. Almas challenged Johnny Gargano to a match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn.

— William Regal came to the ring for a contract signing between Asuka and Ember Moon. Moon said Asuka is the only opponent she’s had to take shortcuts with, but it has just made her stronger. Asuka yelled in Japanese and they signed the contract without further incident.

11. The Street Prophets defeated Lars Sullivan and Chris Silvio. After the match, Sullivan carried Silvio to the back, not bothering to beat him up.

12. Ruby Riot defeated Billie Kay. Peyton Royce ran down Riot after the match, calling her a gross, tattooed loser.

13. Drew McIntyre NC Roderick Strong. Roode came in and attacked Strong, then attacked McIntyre. Roode vs. McIntyre is still on for Brooklyn.
