AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson spoiled John Cena’s triumphant return last Monday night with a brutal three-on-one beatdown. Can the Cenation leader prove to The Phenomenal One on Raw that the future still goes through him, two weeks before they collide in a dream match at WWE Money in the Bank? (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. Will we get a seventh person announced for the Money in the Bank ladder match at the upcoming pay-per-view I can’t remember the name of? So far we only have six. Followup question: Will it be anyone besides Bray Wyatt?
2. The Titus O’Neil vs. Rusev feud continues. Look for them to do that Ricochet vs. Will Ospreay match, move for move. That’s a joke, but imagine that and tell me it’s not the greatest wrestling match you’ve ever pretend-seen.
3. We enter Week 3 of “why are they booking Seth Rollins this way, and Roman Reigns that way.” Enjoy!
4. John Cena must respond to the 3-on-1 attack from The Club. Chances that he makes a dorky joke about clubs set at 100%. Chances he mentions AJ Styles’ soccer mom hair set at 110%. Chance he’s not very serious about any of it set at infinity percent.
5. Dear Raw: if you’re gonna do another Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler or Enzo and Cass vs. the Dudley Boyz match, can you combine them into one? Do a six-man tag. Have it end with Corbin booting Ziggler in the balls so hard it sends him into outer space, a la Short Circuit 2.
