As Seth Rollins looked on from ringside during last Monday night’s Raw main event, Roman Reigns triumphed over three elite Superstars to become the No. 1 contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins has withstood some serious competition since ensnaring the title at WrestleMania—including Brock Lesnar, Sting and Dean Ambrose — but why might The Big Dog present his greatest challenge yet? Our five-point preview:
1. BIG DOG ON THE PROWL! I haven’t read Dot Com’s reason for why Roman is Seth’s greatest challenge yet, but I hope it’s just, “Oh man, Roman Reigns. Have you seen him? He’s so cool and strong. He could beat anybody. Who even are these other guys? Sting died from a buckle-bomb. You could literally park a truck on Roman’s chest and he’d just go OOOOOOOOH and get up and run at you.”
2. At Hell in a Cell, the Wyatt Family beat up and carried away The Undertaker. On Raw, they beat up and carried away Kane. This week, they’ll beat up and carry out that third Undertaker sibling everyone thought was gonna happen in the 2000s. Remember when they were supposed to have a sister? Maybe that was Sister Abigail. Maybe the Wyatts just like carrying heavy dudes.
3. Last week’s Raw was wonderful, so let’s try to be as optimistic as possible about this week’s. Except for the Alberto Del Rio stuff. It’s fine to be weird about that.
4. Hey, maybe this week we’ll get to the bottom of WHO ATTACKED NATALYA? I hope there’s new footage of someone driving a white Hummer into the women’s locker room and bumping into her all gently.
5. There is now a BRIE MODE ACTIVATED shirt, which suggests that the original BRIE MODE model simply identified the it. It was Brie Mode in the off position. Now the sh*tty second-rope dropkicks are gonna be CRAZY.
