WWE Raw Open Discussion Thread 4/6/15

Tonight on the With Spandex WWE Raw open discussion thread:

With The Beast Incarnate caged for the moment with an indefinite suspension, a number of Superstars will be looking to put themselves in the running for an opportunity at Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Title. Who can we expect to make noise? What further fallout could there be from last week’s Brock free-for-all? What other factors might make this week’s Raw even more out-of-control than the last? WWE.com has some ideas. (via WWE.com)

Our five-point preview:

1. This is the Raw after the Raw after Mania, so maintaining some kind of momentum and buzz is crucial. If they can get out of tonight’s show with ANYTHING, it’ll be enough to justify an entire year of good will and trust. If they get out of tonight with a bunch of run-ins and distraction rollups, it’s 50 more weeks of smark winter.

2. Speaking of smark winter, if Daniel Bryan loses another non-title match tonight we officially get to call him the Domestic Wade Barrett and assume the IC title is still the twist tie on WWE’s Hefty garbage bag.

3. If Michael Cole shows up like nothing’s wrong, we riot. Cole shouldn’t come back at all, and if he does it should be 18 months from now in a neck brace with a speech impediment.

4. Expect a touching AJ Lee tribute video to follow up on her retirement announcement. And by “tribute video” I mean “Naomi wrestling Brie Bella and nobody mentioning AJ ever.”

5. What’re the chances we could let Neville and Kalisto wrestle each other tonight for 15 minutes? That’s not a joke, I would just really enjoy that.

As always, +1 your favorite comments and we’ll include 10 of the best in tomorrow’s Best and Worst of Raw column. Enjoy the show, everybody.
