Braun Strowman’s callous and horrific attack last week on Roman Reigns was one of the most destructive acts in the history of Monday Night Raw. After severely injuring The Big Dog in that onslaught, what’s next for The Monster Among Men? (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. Last week, Braun Strowman murdered Roman Reigns like three times, then flipped a damn ambulance over. This week, one of two things will happen: either Strowman will continue his reign of terror (with or without being reprimanded by Kurt Angle), or Reigns will show up in the final segment with taped ribs (taped over his chest protector, obviously) and limping slightly before taking out Strowman with a punch and a spear.
2. Elias Samson had one of the least-notable debuts ever last week, just sort of wandering out onto the stage during the Hardy Boyz entrance. Perhaps this week he’ll treat us to a song.
3. Perhaps you hadn’t heard, but the Superstars … they’ve been shaken up. Is Nia Jax next in line to challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship after running Charlotte out of town? Are the Miz and Dean Ambrose just going to start their rivalry all over again? Probably, to both!
4. Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe are on a collision course, and Rollins is probably looking for payback. Perhaps there’s some sort of similarly-themed pay-per-view coming up. That would be a hell of a coincidence!
5. You’ve probably seen the (half-unfounded, half-“yeah that makes sense”) reports that Finn Bálor may have suffered a concussion after appearing to be legitimately knocked out by a Jinder Mahal elbow last week. If he’s out of action on Monday, there’s probably some unfortunate truth to those reports. Get well soon, you gorgeous demon.
