WWE Raw results:

– The show opened with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman bragging about destroying J&J Security’s Cadillac, and saying Brock will brutalize Seth Rollins at Battleground. Rollins and Kane interrupted, and a contract signing was announced for later in the night.

1. Ryback and Randy Orton defeated Sheamus and The Big Show. The Miz was on color commentary, and eventually verbally interfered so much that Big Show chased him away. Orton hit Sheamus with an RKO, and Ryback followed it with a top rope splash to win the match.

Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose never happened because of a pre-match attack from Roman Reigns on Wyatt.

– Team Bella bragged about how they controlled the Divas Division. That brought out Stephanie McMahon, who said she’d give them competition. She brought out Paige, followed by the debuting Becky Lynch and Charlotte. Tamina and Naomi interrupted to say they were all the competition the Bellas need, so Stephanie added NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks to their team. Everyone brawled, Sasha, Becky and Charlotte locked their signature submissions on Team Bella. You can watch that here.

2. The Prime Time Players and Mark Henry defeated The New Day. Henry won the match for his team with a World’s Strongest Slam.

3. R-Truth defeated King Barrett. Truth pinned Barrett after a Lie Detector.

4. Rusev defeated Cesaro and Kevin Owens. This was made a triple threat match when Rusev and Owens both wanted a shot at John Cena’s United States Championship, and Cesaro showed up to attack Owens. Cena stayed on at commentary, and it was announced that the winner would face Cena for the US title later in the night. Owens walked out mid-match. Rusev was able to defeat Cesaro with a kick to the face.

5. United States Championship Match: Rusev defeated John Cena (c) by DQ. Rusev had Cena in The Accolade when Kevin Owens interfered, causing a disqualification. Owens pop-up powerbombed Rusev and said that he’d be the only one to take the US title from Cena.

– WWE Hall of Famer Lita introduced the crowd to the cast of Tough Enough.

6. Stardust defeated Neville. Stardust won with a rollup.

– The Seth Rollins/Brock Lesnar contract signing ended in violence. Brock revealed that Seth had hidden an axe-handle under the table and attacked. The Authority was briefly able to gain an advantage, but Lesnar slammed Rollins into the barricade and F-5’d Kane on the floor. Rollins escaped through the crowd, so Lesnar used the ring steps to crush Kane’s ankle. Lesnar posed with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. After Lesnar had left, Rollins took back his title, said he’d beat Brock at Battleground and berated Kane for being a failure. He stomped Kane’s injured ankle before leaving.
