Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Raw results for May 9, 2016. The show was headlined by a match between Chris Jericho and Big Cass.

– Chris Jericho started the show with The Highlight Reel, mentioning that Dean Ambrose wasn’t there tonight. Big Cass came out and challenged Jericho to a fight. Jericho teased a fight, left the ring, and got the sawft treatment from Big Cass before getting onto the apron and eating a big boot. Jericho then ran into Stephanie McMahon backstage, who made Jericho/Big Cass the main event.

1. Baron Corbin defeated Dolph Ziggler. Corbin won by pinfall after an End of Days.

– Charlotte and Ric Flair tried to convince Shane McMahon to overturn the Nature Boy’s ringside ban at Extreme Rules. Not only did that not work, but McMahon also banned Flair from ringside for Charlotte’s match against Paige later on tonight.

2. R-Truth defeated Fandango. Truth had Tyler Breeze in his corner and Fandango had Goldust. R-Truth won by pinfall after a Lie Detector.

– Kevin Owens, Cesaro, and the Miz were all screaming in the presence of the McMahons. Stephanie said there would be a triple threat for the Intercontinental Title at Extreme Rules before Sami Zayn showed up and asked if he could get involved. He said he’d take on the Miz later, with the stipulation being if he won, the triple threat match would become a fatal four way. The match got approved.

3. Paige defeated Charlotte. Natalya was on commentary. Charlotte tried to win by putting her feet on the ropes before Natalya got up on the apron. Ric Flair then came out, only for Shane McMahon to run out with a group of referees to escort Flair backstage. Paige then kicked a distracted Charlotte into the ropes and won via pinfall.

4. Sami Zayn defeated The Miz. Sami won via pinfall after a Helluva Kick.

– Renee Young interviewed Becky Lynch backstage. Emma showed up and distracted Becky. Dana Brooke made her Raw debut by blindsiding Becky, which led to an Emma and Dana beatdown.

– Zack Ryder talked to Shane McMahon backstage about belonging in WWE. Kevin Owens then showed up, complained, and Shane put a match together between the two. Winner competes for the Intercontinental Title at Extreme Rules.

5. Sin Cara defeated Rusev. Lana and Kalisto were at ringside. Kalisto used a Lana distraction to kick Rusev in the head and Sin Cara won via a roll up.

6. The Family defeated The Club. Karl Anderson eliminated Jey Uso via pinfall. Jimmy Uso eliminated Anderson via pinfall, then was eliminated during the commercial by A.J. Styles. Roman Reigns eliminated Luke Gallows via pinfall. Styles was DQ’d after Anderson attacked Reigns with a chair. The two teams brawled, Reigns and Styles teased a fight, and the segment ended with Reigns holding his title in the ring.

7. Kevin Owens defeated Zack Ryder. Owens got the win via pinfall after hitting Ryder with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

8. The Dudley Boyz defeated The New Day. The Vaudevillains attacked Xavier Woods, D-Von hit a distracted Kofi Kingston with a lariat, and got the pin. After the match, The Vaudevillains hit a whirling dervish on Kingston.

– Dean Ambrose attacked Chris Jericho during his entrance. He stole Jericho’s lightup jacket and ripped it apart before the two brawled. Jericho left the ring, Big Cass threw him back in, Ambrose hit him with a Dirty Deeds, then used a pair of scissors to shred Jericho’s jacket. Raw ends with Jericho freaking out in the ring and Ambrose staring him down from the top of the ramp.
