Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Smackdown Live results for October 25, 2016. The show featured a main event of AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose in a non-title match.

WWE Smackdown Live Results:
— The show opened backstage with Dean Ambrose talking to Daniel Bryan. They were interrupted by James Ellsworth, who offered to be in Ambrose’s corner for the main event. Ambrose blew him off.
1. No Disqualification Match: Bray Wyatt defeated Kane. Kane was about to put Bray through a table, when the lights went out and Luke Harper appeared on top of the table, attacking Kane. Later, Randy Orton ran out to even the odds, but then hit Kane with an RKO, allowing Wyatt to get the pin.
— Becky Lynch returned from injury and came to the ring. Alexa Bliss then came out and gave her a hard time about getting out of their match and told Becky to hand over the belt to the rightful champion. Becky promised to rip Alexa’s arm off in Glasgow. Alexa tried to sucker punch her, but Becky blocked it and the two women brawled. Alexa laid out Becky in the middle of the ring and spray painted a yellow stripe down her back.
2. The Hype Bros defeated The Ascension. Rawley got the pin after the Hype Bros hit the Hype Ryder, earning a spot in the Smackdown vs. Raw tag team elimination match at Survivor Series.
— Backstage, Randy Orton was asked why he attacked Kane. He simply replied, “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.”
3. Nikki Bella defeated Natalya. This was for the chance to become the Smackdown women’s Survivor Series team captain. The loser would be off the team altogether. Nikki forced Natalya to tap out with the STF.
— After the match, Carmella ran in and attacked Nikki, then laid her out with the Bella Buster.
— Miz, Maryse and the Spirit Squad came to the ring and started running down Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler, Heath Slater and Rhyno came to the ring. Miz goaded Rhyno and Slater into putting their tag titles on the line against the Spirit Squad.
4. Tag Team Championship Match: Heath Slater and Rhyno (c) defeated The Spirit Squad. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler both sat in on commentary for this match. Miz and Ziggler were about to fight outside the ring, but Slater pushed Kenny into the Miz. Rhyno gored Mikey for the pin to retain.
— Backstage, James Ellsworth managed to convince Dean Ambrose to let him accompany him to the ring.
5. AJ Styles defeated Dean Ambrose. With the win, Ambrose would have become the No. 1 contender. Styles dropkicked Ellsworth on the outside and then got dumped by Ambrose. Ellsworth hit Styles with the No Chin Music to get Ambrose disqualified by accident.
