Beyonce, Her Mom And Blue Ivy Win Halloween With Their Salt-N-Pepa Costumes

Get up on Beyonce, daughter Blue Ivy and mom Tina Lawson nailing Halloween with their ’80s-inspired costumes. All three women dressed as the legendary rap trio Salt-N-Pepa for cousin Angie Beyince’s ’80s/’90s-themed birthday party.

Rocking all the jewelry that made the ’80s iconic, including bamboo earrings (at least two pair!), dookie rope chains, and Africa pendants, Bey made for a convincing Pepa in those red tights and leather jacket. Four-year-old Blue Ivy Carter joined as the Salt to her mom’s Pepa, wearing similar gear and looking as adorable as ever in her little white get-up. Bey’s mom, Miss Tina, rounded out the trio as DJ Spinderella. Jay Z was also present, dressed as — hell, the ’80s version of himself? Mr. Carter stunted with an 8 Ball jacket, gold chain and iconic Dwayne Wayne flip-up glasses.

Coming to America🎃

It’s pretty clear the The Carters are Jason Voorhies dead serious when it comes to Halloween. Last year, the family donned Coming to America costumes. Jay Z held it down as Prince Akeem, Beyonce as Queen Aoleon and Blue Ivy as an awwww-inspiring Princess Imani. In 2014, The Carters attended a Halloween party with Jay Z as Jean-Michel Basquiat — hair and all — while Beyonce put on some fake eyebrows and channeled the spirit of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. Blue Ivy went as Picasso Baby, a play on Hov’s 2013 Magna Carta Holy Grail single.
