If you don’t know the name Bibi Bourelly, you’re probably going to hear it a lot more often in the coming months and years. The German R&B singer has made waves in the industry recently thanks to her writing credits on Rihanna’s “B*tch Better Have My Money,” and guest vocals on the Usher track, “Chains.” Recently, she shared a new documentary titled Perfect Night where she shared some of her grander thoughts about the world, and how art affects and is affected by it.

“People spend their entire lives trying to live up to a standard that society sets through media to generate money and suppress people”. Bourelly says in the 12-minute doc. “The truth is, those things don’t exist…You spend all your f**kin’ money trying to aspire to that, and you lie to people and cheat people and beat yourself up and aren’t able to get up in the morning and do drugs because you’re not perfect’…when the people posing to be perfect aren’t perfect to begin with…that’s dangerous to society and humanity. And I think that it’s our jobs as musicians to say something about it.”

Bourelly also announced that she’s hoping on the Do What I Want Tour with Lil Uzi Vert. Check out all of the dates for their run below.
