Curren$y Comes Through With A New Track, ‘Supply And Demand’

Stop me if you’ve heard  this one before: Curren$y’s got a new joint out for your listening  pleasure. “Supply and Demand” finds Spitta daydreaming about the good  life on a golf course over a menacing piano-laced beat.

“Hopped out in country club attire, rocking all my gol
Like I might drink an Arnold Palmer and golf 18 holes
Pick up a tennis racket my b**ch got the bracelet to match it
See we forever matching when the cash is inolved
We grab it and stash it, let it stack up in them vaults”

By this point, you know what you’re going to get with Curren$y and you’re either in or you’re out. If you count yourself among one of the faithful, then you’ll be happy to hear he’s also dropping his sixth mixtape of this year, The Legend of Harvard Blue.

If you’re not up on your Blaxploitation history, the title refers to the bad guy in the Isaac Hayes flick, Truck Turner. Harvard Blue, played by James Bond alum Yaphet Koto, is a pimp –of course he is–out to avenge the death of his fellow pimp-in-arms and keep his stable of women in check. Curren$y hasn’t said whether the movie will inform the music or if he just thought it was a dope character that could make for an even doper album cover.

There’s no release date yet but don’t be caught without your herb when it does drop.
