Drake’s Reaction To Not Winning A Grammy For ‘Work’ Is Comedy Gold

Drake won two Grammys Sunday night with “Hotline Bling” winning Best Rap Song (?????) and Best Best Rap/Sung Performance. The Boy was also up for Record of the Year by way of Rihanna’s “Work,” but lost out to Adele. Rather than being saltier than cured meat about the loss, Drake went on Instagram and made a funny.

The OVO captain posted a photoshopped picture of himself rocking Cee-Lo’s golden Grammy outfit as his chain, along with the caption, “Me and my chain are just here to collect the trophies for “Work” and Anti…howbowdah.” Of course, if you’ve been living under a rock, “howbowdah” is the new slang all the cool kids are saying because “on fleek” is dead and was soooo 2015.

Drake’s two new Grammy wins bring his total number of trophies to three. The Toronto rapper won his first Grammy in 2013 when Take Care won Best Rap Album over albums like Life Is Good (Nas), Undun (The Roots), God Forgives, I Don’t (Rick Ross). Despite dropping heat every single year since his first Grammy win in 2013, it was a four-year drought until “Hotline Bling” came around and snagged two more awards to add to his growing collection. More life. More wins.
