In an unexpected move, Blink-182’s first album with its new line-up, California, ended the nine-week run of Drake’s Views atop the Billboard 200. However, the rapper’s Song of the Summer candidate, “One Dance,” scored its ninth total week at no. 1. View‘s second place finish ended Drake’s streak of simultaneously leading both charts at seven consecutive weeks, tying Michael Jackson for the longest run among solo male artists.

Other notable news for hip-hop and R&B albums in the Billboard 200 includes the debuts of Maxwell’s blackSUMMERS’night at no. 3 and Logic’s Bobby Tarantino at no. 16. Beyonce’s former no. 1, Lemonade, fell two spots to no. 4, and Rihanna’s ANTI fell one spot to no. 6.
