Future Makes Out With Amber Rose In His ‘Mask Off’ Video

After teasing it out on Tuesday evening with some short clips, Future has finally come through with the visuals for his single “Mask Off.” The song is far and away the most popular cut from either of the two albums he’s already dropped in 2017, the self-titled Future, and the in-his-feelings HNDRXX. It was only a matter of time before we got a video, and Future didn’t disappoint.

Directed by Colin Tilley, “Mask Off” is a dark, brooding visual journey packed with scantily clad women and cars set on fire. There’s violence, police action, and at one point, Future makes out with Amber Rose. The Atlanta “Super Trapper” has definitely stepped up his cinematic game something fierce in the last few months.

Of course, you can’t talk about the song “Mask Off” without taking a detour to the “Mask Off” challenge that’s popped up on social media. Fans and casual observers alike couldn’t get enough of the now-instantly recognizable flute riff that adorns the song, and a rash of videos of folks performing it in one or another took over the web for a minute there.

As it stands now, “Mask Off” is the biggest hit of Future’s career, peaking at No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles charts. There’s still time for it to become a No. 1 however, and maybe the shine from this video will be just the thing Future needs to claim the top spot.
