Goldlink Leans Jazzy On The Kaytranada And BadBadNotGood-Produced ‘Fall In Love’

Goldlink’s got the groove for anyone trying to shake the malaise of cooler fall temps. The rapper/singer just released his new video for his Kaytranada and BadBadNotGood-produced single “Fall in Love.”

The D.C. native’s known to make upbeat jams that make you want to get up out of your seat. Here, he keeps the pace even as he laments the agonies associated with falling for someone of the opposite sex. Like, falling out of love never sounded as good as it does on “Fall in Love.” Plus, the video, directed and produced by Shomi Patwary, features a bevy of beautiful sisters joining ‘Link in grooving for the camera. Yes, Goldlink finally made an appearance in one of his own visuals, so we have to make note of it. Cisero joins the party to deliver his verse and even YouTube phenom and fellow DMVer Nileseyy Niles makes a cameo. Everything about the tune and its accompanying video looks and sounds like the perfect soundtrack for when a boy and girl first meet each other and begin a winter romance.

Goldlink has built up a following since he popped up on the scene in 2014 with his debut mixtape, The God Complex, and he only built on to that foundation with And After That We Didn’t Talk, released in 2015. He hasn’t revealed exactly what his plans are for 2017 but at least we have jams like “Fall in Love” to play repeatedly until the time comes.
