Gucci Mane Pines For Warm Weather And Good Times At ‘Coachella’ On His New Single

Music festivals tend to leave a lasting impression. The bands. The food. The friends. The drinks. The weather. It certainly must have left an impression on Gucci Mane anyway. Guwop decided to commemorate his star-packed Sahara stage closing set last weekend at Coachella, with a brand new single named after the festival.

Produced by Murda Beatz and TM88, the song is a flute-painted, trap banger that finds Gucci pining for warmer climates and good times at Coachella. “Cold weather, just performed at Coachella / It’s a cold Summer so I’m a paint the lamb yellow / Watch sweater, Patek it’s an eye catcher / That’s your wife getter so cold I need like five sweaters, brrr.”

While, by most accounts, Kendrick Lamar turned in what many consider to be the best set at Coachella, debuting a wealth of new material from his most recent album DAMN., Gucci was no slouch. In addition to busting out some of his most beloved older, pre-incarceration material, Guwop also treated the crowd to a live rendition of “Black Beatles” with Rae Sremmurd, then brought out Lil Yachty who played “1 Night,” Migos who performed “Bad And Boujee,” and finally Diddy who ran through a medley of his own hits. Who knows what’s he’s got planned for his set this weekend?
