Jack Black Toasts To The Douchebags In This Kanye West ‘Runaway’ Homage

If you haven’t been following Jack Black on Instagram this last month, you’ve really been missing out on some high quality entertainment. Lately, the Tenacious D front man and School of Rock actor, has taken to posting short, black and white videos of himself to social media, lip syncing along to some of his favorite songs. For the latest installment in the series, Black shared a clip of himself singing Kanye West’s classic “Runaway.”

In the video, Black is seen leaning back in a chair, his normally contorting face a picture of stoicism. He starts feeling it once the song’s iconic chorus kicks in: “See, I always find / And I always find / Yeah, I always find somethin’ wrong / You been puttin’ up with my sh*t just way too long / I’m so gifted at findin’ what I don’t like the most / So I think it’s time for us to have a toast.”

He really digs in however once the toasts come into play. “Let’s have a toast for the douchebags / Let’s have a toast for the a**holes / Let’s have a toast for the scumbags / Every one of them that I know / Let’s have a toast to the jerkoff / That’ll never take work off / Baby, I got a plan / Run away fast as you can.”

There are so many other great entries into this impromptu series it’s hard to know where to begin with recommendations. Here he is wailing on Billy Joel’s “Scenes From An Italian Restaurant.”

Here he is with “Lapdance” by N.E.R.D.

And here he is achieving singularity with Jack White on The White Stripes “Little Room.”
