Kid Ink Sets A Record For Most Weeks At No. 1 On Billboard’s Rap Airplay Chart

On Rap Airplay, Kid Ink scores the record for most weeks at No. 1 as his breakout hit “Show Me,” featuring Chris Brown, spends its 18th consecutive week at the top (31 million audience – down 6 percent – in the week ending May 18, according to Nielsen BDS). The California rapper overtakes the previous record holder, Juvenile, who had 17 weeks at No. 1 with “Back That Thang Up” in 1999. (The Rap Airplay chart launched on Feb. 20 of that year.)
