After Kanye West’s hospitalization today Page Six reports that Kim Kardashian immediately flew back to Los Angeles, missing the Angel Ball, a gala honoring her late father. People reports that her sisters Khloé and Kourtney, as well as her mother Kris still attended the event.
Since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, Kim has been shunning social media, her historical medium of choice. Early on Monday morning she was seen leaving Los Angeles on a private jet, for the scheduled public appearance in New York. The event would have been her first public appearance since she was robbed. Instead, she went to visit her husband in the hospital.
Following several rants on his Saint Pablo tour, including a back and forth with Kid Cudi, disses toward Jay Z and Beyonce, and the news that he didn’t vote but would’ve chosen Trump, this morning West abruptly canceled the remainder of his tour all together. Later in the day, news broke that he had been hospitalized following a medical welfare call.
2016 has been particularly rough for the Kardashian-West clan. Here’s hoping things improve immediately and Kanye’s stay in the hospital is short and painless. Probably wouldn’t hurt if Jay Z picked up the phone to smooth things out with his old work friend, too. There’s a time for grudges, and then there’s a time to bury the hatchet.
