Mike Will Made-It has done quite a bit over the last several years to establish himself as one of the most vital, ambidextrous producers in the game. His latest full-length project Ransom 2, that he dropped back in March, is a prime example of his shape-shifting ability to adapt his music to almost any voice out there.
The prime example from that track is the single “Perfect Pint,” which contains stellar features from Kendrick Lamar, Gucci Mane and Rae Sremmurd. Today, Mike Will unveiled a brand new music video for that particular track and it’s absolutely bonkers. I mean who doesn’t want to see, Kung Fu Kenny take flight in a Back To The Future-style Chevy Impala?

I talked to Rae Sremmurd about Ransom 2 and this specific song at SXSW a few months back. ‘That’s a moment in history,’ Swae Lee said. “I made the hook, Jxmmi read the verse, Gucci read the verse, Kendrick read the verse.” And as to their regular collaboration with Mike Will? “It’s like non-stop possibilities. You’ve got all kinds of beats, you’ve got all kinds of genres. Any kind of beat you can imagine, he’s got it. Any kind of beat you can’t imagine, he’s got it. He’s going to have non-stop wave, he’s going to have some good vibes. He’s going to have some great ideas. You’re working with a genius.”
