Eminem has reissued his seminal album, The Marshall Mathers LP, as a limited edition cassette in celebration of its 16th anniversary. It can be purchased from his official website as a part of several packages including a T-shirt, “good wood” dog tag, and most interestingly, a brick from Eminem’s childhood home located at 19946 Dresden Street in Detroit.

According to Eminem’s Instagram and Facebook pages, the brick was was taken from the condemned property before it was demolished:

“On November 20th, 2013 the State of Michigan ordered the demolition of the childhood home of Marshall B. Mathers due to structural safety issues. By reacting quickly, we were able to secure materials from the razed property.”

The unique collectible item is available not only for nostalgic reasons, but is a reference to the Marshall Mathers LP album artwork. The authentic brick is available with the cassette for a whopping $313 or can be purchased with the dog tag and t-shirt as part of the $350 deluxe package.

A portion of the proceeds from the reissue will be donated to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which helps provide support for at-risk and disadvantaged youth programs. The offering puts to rest rumors of a new album which were stoked on Genius last week — for now at least.
