Rick Ross And Gucci Mane Share Their (Confusing) Community Reinvestment Ideas In ‘Buy Back The Block’

Rick Ross’ “Buy Back the Block” — a posse cut off of his upcoming album Rather You Than Me — was one of the best songs released this month. The music video isn’t even the best one released today. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth a watch.

In the new clip, Gucci Mane and Rick Ross are working in a car wash set up outside of a gas station when they come up with a scheme to buy the whole block rather than pay rent to the station. Apparently, it goes pretty well because the video cuts to 2 Chainz, Rozay and Guwop partying in a gas station parking lot. Meek Mill is also there, presumably as a silent partner in the whole block-buying deal. Also, Rick Ross and Gucci Mane are still Rick Ross and Gucci Mane even though they’re working in a car wash?

Listen, the video is never really clear. But it is fun and has one of those great Chainz guest verses that are always worth hitting the play button. Check it out up top and help Ross get his play counts up. If any of this is true, he’s going to need all the help he can get.
