Stacey Dash Kicks The Bey Hive By Going After Beyonce’s Mother Over A Halloween Costume

It would seem that Stacey Dash is moving from going after the Oscars and Jesse Williams to take on a much larger target: Beyonce’s family. If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the past year, you don’t want to mess with the Bey Hive or Beyonce. Even Kenny Chesney learned this indirectly.

This tiny controversy seems to have started thanks to this post by Beyonce’s mother, Tina Lawson, and Kelly Rowland’s Cluless inspired costume:

The big deal here is that the original caption was a bit more harsh towards Dash:

Of course this was picked up by a few outlets, including Oxygen, and then it made its way back to Stacey Dash who shared her unfiltered remarks through a blog post on her web site:

First of all, if you’re trying to throw shade about someone’s intelligence, maybe use “smarter” instead of “more smart.”

Here’s the thing — Kelly Rowland is a beautiful girl and I love the costume! Imitation is the best form of flattery.

The problem with this, as it is when you’re the odd person out in a situation against a large group of supporters, is that Dash made a mistake by responding to Beyonce’s mother at all. Just walk away as the Lord Humungus would say, otherwise you’re going to go up against an army of Beyonce fans:
