Travi$ Scott Is ‘So Hurt’ Over The Grammys Snubbing ‘Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight’

Each year the Grammy nominations are revealed in December and rock the music industry to its core. For many, it’s not even the nominations that are newsworthy, instead the focus is on those who deserved recognition for their impressive bodies of work but received none from the recording academy. This year, Travi$ Scott was one of those snubs, receiving exactly zero nominations despite releasing one of the best albums and songs of the year in Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and “Pick Up The Phone” respectively.

Travi$ isn’t the most active social media member, but he found his way onto Instagram to react to the news, and it’s safe to say he was disappointed. After Vice President of A&R at Epic Records Sickamore posted a picture of Travi$ reading a phone in a haze with the caption “reading the Grammy nominations like….,” the rapper hopped into the comments to simply say “So hurt man.”

Soon after, DJ Mustard popped up to agree with the sentiment of the entire post as well.

It’s a feeling Mustard knows all too well after YG’s 2014 album My Krazy Life was snubbed by the Grammys as well, leading to protests at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, led by YG himself.
