Jay Z releases the video for, “Picasso Baby,” off of, “Magna Carta Holy Grail.”
That was cool. Hard to belive nobody thought of his before. This production budget was prob low as hell. The only prob I hate with it were the kids there for a unfiltered song like that. Clean fun tho, no half Naked women, cars & all that. Not my fav song on the album. Nickles & dimes. But the video is great. Great video.
Very well done. A fan video
On another note. How old is Rosie Perez to be looking that gorgeous 20 years later.
Rosie did look good, somethim
Video is cool. But his hype just kills everything. It’s such a build up but the product seems to be a let down. Jay sort of became the token street black guy that white people are not afraid of. I guess he disguises his tokenist (not really a word) as pioneering.
Right now I just had about my fill of Jay. I’m Kinda Tired of Jay-z
^^^^^I like what you said.
Its just different Baby , we need new improve shit in Hip Hop , New concept , New Genres of tunes , New Black Elite , New Videos , NewRules# baby . DOPE FRESH VIDEO .
@I’m kinda tired of jay z
You are tired yet you find time to watch his video and comment? Where is the logic behind all that? If you are tired of the man like you say, do yourself a favor and skip any article related to him; that’ll be more clever and make you look less like an idiot. Have a nice day.
haha jayz the token black guy
Why did HBO pick this up when it’s just online? This will always be my favorite Hov video, the doc from WTT [www.youtube.com]
Cool concept thats how you shoot a fan video… But could of filtered it for the kids.
Rosie is so gorgeous at a whopping 48.
Dope you can like it…….
The power of money is truly fascinating.
Jay taking this hip-hop shit to another level.
For those who can’t relate, go listen to the blueprint, black album or even reasonable doubt if your looking for that younger Jay.
+1 on Hov being that token street guy. He does what he has to do to become increasingly marketable and it works.
People want something innovative bla bla bla, then when someone tries to push the boundaries they get “tired” of them. The culture will never be moved forward with that attitude
Great video, dope concept. By far the best video I’ve seen in a longgggggg time.
A lot more innovative than putting on old clothes and using/not using a camera with a “1996” caption, yet it looks exactly like it would in 2014, ala “No New Friends”. Funny, people never “get tired” of that…
maaaannn u guys needa get off jay-z d*ck. Whod does this guy think he is?! So stupid
I wouldn’t call it a fan video. Having excluded the average Joe fan who would have loved to partake in the venue. I am pretty sure everyone there, had to know somebody who knew somebody.
Why are all these white people at a Jay Z video? Hip Hop/rap is so far removed from its roots its ridiculous. Aren’t these the same people who denounced rap in the 90s and said it was poisoning their kids? smdh
