Jay-Z breaks down his song “Heaven”, featured on his upcoming album Magna Carta Holy Grail, Album arrives on July 4th.
Don’t be fooled by Shawn… there is heaven for those who do righteous things on Earth. There is heaven for those who don’t desire worldly things on Earth. There is heaven for those who believe and worship one God… the creator of the universe. The God that gives us free will and a choice, to do wrong or to do good. Anyone who can’t believe that is blinded by desire. And for those who people I’m afraid… there is a hell.
This world is a test and at the end of this life, we will be judged. It baffles me that folks will reject God, the same God that created everything for us, but will praise men like Jay Z and Kanye, who wouldn’t give you the time of day and could care less about you. I used to like these guys ALOT… then I grew up and looked at the bigger picture.
God isn’t real
PEOPLE ITS A SONG!!!! The man mentions religion and here we go blowing it out of context. How can we say we respect artistry but will not allow the painter to create his vision without our biased opinions.
….Exactly…..If a rapper changes or even shakes your views on religion, then you were never that faithful to it to begin with. If you’re concerned that he’s leading lead people astray….then those people were probably blinded beforehand.
..You know there once was a man who helped to lead the blind…His name was….aww shucks, that’s a story for another time.
@real spittah. if there was no heaven or hell would you still believe in God? Would you still try to live a just life?
God didn’t want robots he wanted people who could freely choose to love Him and follow Him. Making someone do something isn’t love free will was the only way. Not hating on Jay-Z but i’d love to share with him the gospel.
What’s biased about the truth? By all means believe what you want. I’ve read and did my research about God and any logical person can see that the universe is designed so perfect that there has to be a creator. If there is no heaven and no hell would I still believe in God? Absolutely because God is unlike anything. ANYTHING bro
there is nothing thaat will make me respect this man, He is such an ass.. Yet rap fans treat him like he is a prophet
