TV Avalanche Podcast, Episode 41: ‘The Punisher,’ ‘Future Man,’ Louis CK & More

Welcome to another episode of TV Avalanche, where Brian Grubb and I try to sort out the best, worst, and most interesting things happening in Peak TV.

While we for the most part like to spend our podcast time goofing around and talking about Wynn Duffy, the New York Knicks, and the TV show Zoo, sometimes developments in TV necessitate a more serious tone, which is why this week’s show begins with a long discussion of the Louis CK revelations and the fallout.

From there, we shift into discussing Netflix’s latest Marvel series, The Punisher (you can read my written review here), which has its own issues of real life bleeding into fiction, then move on to a much sillier streaming action show, Hulu’s Future Man.

Once that’s done, it’s time for our favorite mailbag segment in quite some time, with one question after another that made Brian and I very excited to consider.

As always, you can send questions to tvavalanche@uproxx.com, or tweet with the hashtag #TVAvalanche.

You can also follow the podcast directly on Twitter. Uproxx now has a dedicated TV Avalanche page with links to all the ways you can subscribe, but just in case, the podcast is available on iTunes (please rate and review if you haven’t already), Stitcher, Google Play, and Android. You can also stream it below or download it from SoundCloud. Our theme song is “Brundlefly” by The Zombie Dandies, which you can download here.

The rundown (timestamps coming later; long story):
