2 Chainz Pays Tribute To Michael Jackson In “Freebase” Video

It’s been a few months since 2 Chainz dropped his six-song Freebase EP and despite being brief it still gets plenty of spins in the whip. Tity and his team have done well to spread out the visuals and extend the life of the project as long as possible, and now he’s back at it with a “Thriller”-themed visual for the EP’s title track.

Directed by Chainz, credited as “Dos Cadenas”* and featuring Wild’n Out Ms. Jacky Oh the clip finds Tity Boi surrounded by zombies in his Thriller jacket and eventually zombified himself. Proceeded by a message proclaiming that this is an homage to Mike and not a parody, the video is a worthy tribute and sufficient entertainment for a song that features the hilarious line “I done did a song with everybody from Jermaine Dupri down to Papoose” and a threat to carjack Funkmaster Flex out of one of his “raggedy ass old schools.”

* – Yep, the words “two” and “chains” in Spanish.
