As a result of the “Pre-Grammy Bash,” Wrigley’s has decided to supsend it’s current ad campaign starring young Chris. It’s ironic considering that the ad campaign just ran last night during the Grammys *snickers*.
“Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen,” the company said in a statement released to MTV News. “However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”
While the details haven’t emerged, this is a tough break for the kid. They dropped his ass faster than Fantasia did high school. No matter what, he’s already been marked guilty in the court of public opinion. But really though, how many of us haven’t been in the driver’s seat, involved in a similar situation? He’s got that “Man, I’ll clock this bitch if she says one more slick comment.”
