Dr. Pepper. State-of-the-art headphones and now a highly advanced “digital music ecosystem.” It would appear that the Interscope monarchy is out ensure fans have the best possible listening experience possible for Detox. Or maybe they’re trying to make you forget they even brought it up.

The latest technological enterprise from the good sound Doctor finds Jimmy Iovine and Hewlett-Packard joining forces to improve on the audio quality of MP3’s as they continue to dominant the market.

“We have to fix the entire chain,” Iovine told CNET News. “Our position is to go to all the sources and try to improve sound and educate people…We can’t put anything weak in the line. Whoever puts out things that sound bad shouldn’t be as cool as something that sounds great.”

Typically, artists usually jump into these type of ventures after they release an album to be the focal point of any sort of marketing campaign, but not Andre Young. Sporadically producing beats since the 2001 was emancipated, his clout still reigns supreme a decade later. Kinda speaks volumes for the album’s classic status, don’t ya think?
