If the hipsters hated their moniker, then K.Flay, Kellee Maize and now Eternia, are going to absolutely despise the phrase “White girl rap.” Get over it ladies–it is what it is. Once the blanketed shroud of stereotype washes away, the critic will be forced to listen to what you have to say. Make it worthwhile or take the criticism in stride.
But that would be too easy for confident mic controller such as Eternia. While you focus on gender, she’s eight bars deep into ripping you a new one while the crowd “oohs & aahs” with plenty of finger pointing. After three arduous years, she finally completed her sophomore album with fellow Maple Leaf MoSS and the energy level is pulsating through the meter.
