Truck North is a pocket-patting, lunch money taking, face mushing, mean-mugging microphone bully. While most artists would have problems making their voices heard in a group with THE emcee, (the incomparable Black Thought, of course), the fellow Money Making Jam Boy has always been able to stand out. Mr. North doesn’t rap as much as he seethes with a precise and relaxed delivery that belies a fire residing somewhere beneath the surface.
Truck checks in with a quick freestyle over Evidence’s heater, “Fear & Loathing,” that featured Alchemist and Fashawn. The North Philly vet maintains the same level of grime and grit as the original with lines like “Truck North/Latest Greatest/They almost famous/I’m so hated by niggas that I’m almost Reagan.” This brief stick-up of a verse serves as a reminder that the Jam Boys are still at work and the rest of the emcees in the game should either vacate the area or tuck in their collective chains.

As an extra, The Money Making Jam Boy borrows ATCQ’s classic “Butter” instrumental for a quick freestyle.
