We just got a new guy at work and despite his affinity for Lasers, he’s proven to be a good addition to the workplace. While his musical tastes are still developing, the kid knows his stuff when it comes to electronics. I swear he’s showed me 10 different car stereos over the past week or so, but none caught my eye than the new Pioneer AppRadio. There are bundles of stereos that connect with iPods in varying ways, what makes the AppRadio unique is that it actually syncs up with 4th generation iPhones and Touches allowing access to certain apps, AM/FM radio and phone calls through Bluetooth.
One thing missing, which probably wont bother many, is a CD player. So that’s one aspect potential consumers will have weigh into their buying process. Priced at $399.99, Pioneer’s AppRadio is available now at BestBuy, Crutchfield, Amazon and other selected retailers. Peep the promo video below to see the stereo in action.
