Certain controversies may have thrust Rick Ross into the public eye but his music maintains a certain characteristic that made him a star. Production outfit-for-hire, The Olympicks, have been getting in where they fit in, creating heat for whoever punched their ticket and aside from landing placements from Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy and Big Sean, they also found their work on one of 2010’s biggest albums in Ross’ Teflon Don.
Although the Detroit quintet saw their “Mafia Music 2″ beat get spread as promo for the album and “All The Money In The World” (which featured Raphael Saadiq and was kind of wack, but whatever) officially make the cut, they had so much more to offer Rozay. So all you aspiring, limited flow/cadence rappers, today is your lucky day. The Olympicks compiled an unofficially official mixtape with the sound bytes that missed the yacht for Ricky’s fourth album and here’s all y’alls chances to make shiftless, dope boy rap.
Enjoy with a bag of coke and a smile.
