Jay-Z Responds To Lil Wayne Diss, Just Not In Song

By 10.03.11

Jay-Z took the usual coy route when asked his thoughts on Lil Wayne’s “kidnap your b*tch” line heard in Tha Carter IV’s “It’s Good” and all the assorted verbal jousting between the two emcees. Hova tells MTV, “”That’s sport, that’s rap music. Nothing is going to change but the participants. I don’t even see why that’s news.” Again, the ’90s are over so don’t expect to see anyone bumrushed on stage or physical bloodshed to occur. Wayne’s already presuming there won’t be repercussions but I’m willing to bet $5 Jay pens an offhand response during a R&B feature or future remix appearance.
