After years of false starts and fake rumors, everyone’s favorite cult classic, Arrested Development, will finally be back for one last run, according to the show’s creator Mitch Hurwitz and cast during a reunion Sunday at the New York Festival. CEO Michael Bluth, his retard brother Buster and the unfortunate wordplay of ana lrapist Tobias Funke (I just blue myself) return for another half season that supposedly ties into what will be a feature film based on the show. It comes at a very opportune time because The Office won’t last much longer now that Steve Carrell has moved on, and besides Parks and Recreation and Modern Family, there aren’t a great deal of decent comedies on TV right now. And lord knows I’d give an arm (but not my right one) and a leg to see Portia de Rossi back on the big screen.
Also, here’s a quick refresher to start de-cobwebbing the Arrested Development parts of your brains.
