Whoa, whoa, whoa, now!
A court-ordered sober Lil Wayne sees no reason to hold his tongue since his brain can’t get lost in fog. When asked about his highly successful artist, Nicki Minaj, the Young Money head honcho bluntly told Vibe Magazine that his expectations for the human Barbie haven’t been met by her output. “I’m not satisfied with anything she’s done. I believe she can do a whole lot more, and I believe she will do a whole lot more. It’s not shocking, and it’s not surprising. It’s quite fitting. But other than that, it’s nowhere near the end.”
That’s a pretty bold statement albeit one that mirrors a chunk of the average rap critic’s perception. Her debut album, Pink Friday, is on its way to reaching double platinum status in sales and with over 20 million followers on Facebook and Twitter, she’s one of the most popular artists on the planet. Still, a standard is a standard. Wayne also alluded to never listening to Watch the Throne but let’s quit while you’re ahead, O.K. Weezy?
