Where Busta Rhymes’ signing with Cash Money was met with skepticism and French Montana’s expected Bad Boy deflection with a single sigh, Juicy J becoming Taylor Gang seems to make all the sense in the world. And it has more to do with he and Wiz’s common love for Miss Mary. Sure, Juicy is a legend in his own right who has done damn well on his own through the Rubba Band Business mixtape series. Fact still remains though, Triple 6’s heydays are far, far removed and Juicy probably saw Wiz become a superstar by his own hustle (strategically placed radio hits, too) and saw dollar signs. Do I expect J to ever become the crossover superstar that Young Khalifa currently is? Nope, but he doesn’t need to be.
Staying relevant is the name of the game and Juicy has been doing that by his damn self with a surplus of mixtapes and features over the past year and change. And with the news of a Taylor Gang compilation album (because that’s the thing to do nowadays), here’s to The Original Juiceman convincing Wiz to get back on that Kush & Orange Juice mindset. “Stoner’s Night Pt. 2″ is a pretty good start.

And just in case you need more than one hit to get you high…
