I remember going to P.A. Palace in Capitol Plaza Mall as a teenager and, in addition to whatever new Backyard tape that dropped, picking up all the new “NY shit.” DJ Clue, DJ Absolut, Cutmaster C, etc.–I bought it all. Koncept of the Brown Bag AllStars, with an assist from Royce 5’9”, takes his napkin out of his shirt long enough to bring back some NY nostalgia with the Marco Polo-produced “Watch The Sky Fall.” The Queens, NY native connects with Royce for a solemn, but rapidfire, ode to surviving life’s rainy days.
